Barrels

Measurements Used in the Arena:

• 30' from the timer to barrel #1 and #2

• 70' between barrel #1 and #2

• 90' to barrel #3

• Minimum required distance between fences and barrels: 15'; the minimum used was 20'

• 40' after the timer for starting and stopping.

Rules:

• Two rounds. The average time is used to determine the winner.

• 5-second penalty for each barrel knocked over.

• "No Time" penalty (marked in red) for an incorrect pattern or illegal dismount. For scoring purposes, the "No Time" will be assigned the slowest time of all riders + 1 second.
