Have you ever attended one of our local rodeo events? The rodeo component is the heart of Barriler@s, Inc, bringing together our community of riders and enthusiasts in Puerto Rico. With monthly events across the South West and North East regions, we celebrate our shared passion for equestrian sports and cultural heritage. What do you think makes a rodeo event really special?”
How to take part?

Our local rodeos are for the general public, ages 5 and up.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER to participate in our local events, however, members receive discounts and participate in year-end awards shows.

Minors under 21 years of age require the use of a protective helmet during competition.

All breeds of horses are allowed: depending on the amount of participation, categories are created by rider skill or by breed of horse. We offer the opportunity to our Paso Finos and Criollos.

Keyri Lee Matta
I have the honor and privilege of wearing several hats as a volunteer member of this magnificent association. Among them, I serve as Director of the Northwest Region . I am passionate about our work and firmly believe in our mission; "Working together is the key to the success and life of our equestrian sports." I remain at your service with great enthusiasm, humble pride and service to our athletes, especially the young people of our future!

José Luis Matos
I have the privilege of leading the Southwest Region of our association. For many years I have been passionate about the sport of Rodeo; when I was young, I practiced the sport in the town of Lajas. After over 30 years the sport began to grow, and I was approached to run the South West area. For me, it was an honor to accept and help the sport in this new experience as director and, on occasions, judge. I am very grateful to the association and our athletes. Always on order!
